Data We Collect

We collect the information needed to provide the service: your email address, name (optional), uploaded documents, and the text extracted from them. To generate study materials your content is processed by external providers: extracted text is sent to AI providers (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and OpenAI), uploaded images to Azure Computer Vision for text recognition (OCR), and recorded audio to Deepgram for speech-to-text. These providers act as data processors and may process data outside the EU/EEA, safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Per these providers' terms, your data is not used to train their models. Uploaded files and study materials are stored securely and are deleted when you remove them or delete your account. The service is intended for users aged 13 or older; if you are younger, a guardian's consent is required. Child accounts are created by a guardian who consents to the processing on the child's behalf.
