Studieassistenten is a web-based platform that helps students condense study material through OCR processing and AI-generated content. The service provides features to create flashcards, practice tests, and summaries from uploaded documents.
All study materials generated by Studieassistenten — including flashcards, practice tests, summaries, and vocabulary lists — are produced by artificial intelligence (AI). While we strive for high quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. We make no representations or warranties regarding the correctness, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
AI-generated study materials are intended as a supplementary study aid only. They do not constitute professional academic advice and should not be used as a substitute for textbooks, course materials, teachers, or other authoritative educational sources. You are solely responsible for verifying all generated content against reliable sources before relying on it for exams, assignments, or other academic purposes.
Studieassistenten and its operators accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, or negative academic outcome arising from reliance on AI-generated content provided through this service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You may only upload content that you have the right to use. You agree not to use the service for illegal purposes or in any way that could harm the service or other users.
You retain all rights to the content you upload. We claim no ownership over your materials. The AI-generated content belongs to you but is created using our technology. Studieassistenten's branding, design, and code are owned by us and may not be used without permission.
The service is offered through monthly or lifetime subscriptions. Payments are processed securely through our payment service providers. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Lifetime subscriptions provide access for the lifetime of the service, as long as we continue to operate, subject to these Terms of Service.
In accordance with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen, 2005:59), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. However, the conditions differ depending on your subscription type:
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until the period expires. No partial refunds are given for unused time on monthly subscriptions. For lifetime subscriptions, see the Right of Withdrawal section above.
Uploaded documents are processed with OCR technology for text extraction. The extracted text is sent to Claude AI (Anthropic) to generate study materials. We do not store original files, only the extracted text. AI providers do not use your data for model training per their policy.
The service is provided "as is". We strive for high quality but do not guarantee that AI-generated content is always error-free or suitable for your specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated study materials. We are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the service.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through notifications in the service. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. This permanently deletes all your data, including tests, documents, and generated content. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or shut down the service at any time for any reason. In the event of permanent service shutdown, we will provide lifetime subscription holders with reasonable advance notice (minimum 90 days when possible). Lifetime subscription holders may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion, calculated based on time elapsed since purchase. Monthly subscriptions will not be charged after the announced shutdown date. No refunds or compensation are guaranteed beyond what is required by applicable consumer protection laws.
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Swedish jurisdiction.
